Let us see the ingredients needed for AAMRAKHAND
- Mango-1 big (any sweeter variety)
- Sweet and fresh curds(yogurt)-500 ml.
- Sugar( powdered)-3 table spoon.or more according to taste.
- Milk to soak saffron-2 tablespoon
- Saffron strands-5to8.
- Almonds-8to10 numbers(sliced)
- Pistachio-8 to 10 number(soaked and sliced)
- Cardamom -6 to 8 numbers (powdered)
PREPARATIONS TO BE MADE FOR MAKING AAMRAKHAND
- Take 3 tablespoons of sugar and powder it in a mixer grinder.
- Select fresh sweet and ripe mango. Wash, cut, and make puree.
- Soak the saffron in 1 tablespoon of hot milk in a bowl.
- Soak the pistachio in a little water for 15 minutes to peel its skin.
- Take cardamoms remove skin and grind it to make powder.
- Take almonds, and make thin slices in a slicer.
- Finally, take a mixing bowl and a whisk to mix.
- Take the hung curd in the bowl and beat well.
- Add powdered sugar and mix.
- Add mango puree and mix nicely so that no lumps are left.
- Now add cardamom powder, pistachio slices, and almond slices.
- Also, add saffron strands with the soaked milk.
- After mixing once more keep in the refrigerator to make it chilled.
