YUMMY CHAT MASALA
Friends, today I will be showing you a very tangy and tasty chat masala.

Chat masala is an Indian spice mix in a powder form, often sprinkled on top of chat items to increase the taste.
CHAT MASALA can be called the most magical masala among all, as it can enhance taste to the next level. You might also have used it for chats, dahi Vadas, fruit and vegetable salads, and so on, and the list goes on.
Friends, making this masala is very easy, tasty, and cheaper too.
You can store it in an air-tight glass container and keep it fresh for a longer period.
Ingredients needed for chat masala:-
- Coriander seeds: :-1 small cup
- Cumin seeds- -1 small cup
- Fenal seeds-1/2 cup
- Carom seeds:- 1 Tablespoon
- Black pepper:-1/4 cup
- Black salt:-1/2 cup
- Mango powder:-1/2 cup
- Ginger powder: :-1 tablespoon
- Red chilli powder: :-1 1/2 Tablespoons
- Pomogranate seeds (DRY):- 1 Tablespoon
- Green cardamom: 10-12 in number
- Citric acid-1 teaspoon
- Dry mint leaves:- 2 Tablespoons

METHOD OF ROASTING THE INGREDIENTS FOR CHAT MASALA:-
- Heat a fry pan or skillet on a low flame.
- Put coriander seeds and cumin seeds and roast for about 2 mts or until you get a nice aroma.

- Now add pepper, asafoetida, and fenal seeds and roast till they start smelling.

- Also, add pomegranate seeds and cardamom.

- At last, add dry mint leaves and turn off the flame.

Now, cool the roasted ingredients completely and then put them in a mixer grinder jar.

- Grind it into coarse powder.

- Now add all the powders:- Namely, Red chilli powder, Mango powder, Ginger powder, Black salt, and Citric acid.

Grind once more, and your chat masala is ready.

Store in an air-tight container, preferably in a glass jar.
