Festivals, like Gokulashtami, Gouri, and Ganesh festivals, are fast approaching.

We use beetle leaves for pooja, and often there is an excess, which goes to waste.

PAN OR BEETLE LEAF is consumed with chuna (limestone), Catechu, beetle nuts, dry coconut, diamond sugar, Cardamom, cloves, and nutmeg.

If taken in this way, it needs good chewing and so healthy teeth too.

Have you ever observed how pan is being made?

To make a PAN, you need a pan which has to be washed, and then first lime (chuna) has to be applied, and then kattha (catechu) solution, and then beetle nuts, dry coconut gratings, clove, and cardamom. sugar or gulkand, etc.

Next, it must be folded carefully into a triangle to hold all the ingredients intact.

Here is a powder or pan mix that requires less chewing and eliminates the mess of making a pan.
