MAKING OF YUMMY BREAD DOSA

Today I am going to show you a very easy Breakfast Recipe, BREAD DOSA made out of leftover bread pieces.
Sometimes after making sandwiches, a few pieces of bread are left, which may be due to a shortage of stuffing.
You are left with some outer brown coverings too.
These can be used for making a new and quick yummy breakfast.
Any bread whether white or brown bread can be used in this recipe.
Already you know several dosa-making recipes, using different ingredients in different proportions.
But this has a different taste and is healthy too.

INGREDIENTS FOR BREAD DOSA

  1. Bread (any)-5-6 slices
  2. Semolina or Rawa-1 cup
  3. Curds-1/2 cup
  4. Green chilies-6-8 in numbers
  5. Capsicum-1 small
  6. Onion-1 medium
  7. Carrot 1 small
  8. Ginger-1 inch piece
  9. Coriander leaves-a handful
  10. Salt -1 level teaspoon
  11. Cumin seeds-3/4 teaspoon
  12. Sesame or til-1 tablespoon
  13. Oil-to roast the dosa-5-6 tablespoons
  14. Water-1 cup to make the batter (while grinding)

PREPARATIONS TO BE DONE FOR YUMMY BREAD DOSA:

  1. First, break the bread pieces into small pieces with your hand.
  2. Wash, peel, and grate carrots.
  3. Peel the onions and cut them into small pieces.
  4. Wash and cut the green chilies into small pieces.
  5. Wash Coriander leaves and chop them roughly.
  6. Wash and cut the capsicum into small pieces.
  7. Wash and grate the Ginger piece.

MAKING OF BATTER FOR CRISPY BREAD DOSA

  • Put the broken bread pieces into a grinder jar and run the mixer to grind it into a powder form.

  • Now add the semolina and curd to the jar with bread powder, to make a smooth paste. (batter).
  • Can use water while grinding.

  • Put the batter into a mixing bowl.

  • Now add cut Onions, Capsicum, grated Carrots, Ginger, chopped Coriander, and Green chilies,
  • Also add Cumin seeds, Sesame seeds, and Salt.

  • Combine all of them to make a batter for SPICY BREAD DOSA.

  • When the pan is still getting heated at the last movement, add 1 teaspoon of fruit salt and little

  •  mix the batter very gently.
  • Now the batter is ready to make dosas.

ROASTING OF BREAD DOSA ON A SPECIAL GROOVED  PAN OR GRILLED PAN

  • Heat the pan and smear oil on it. with a brush, so that Dosa becomes crispy and tasty.
  • keep the heat very low, because slow cooking will make the dosa crispier.

  • Now spread the dosa batter starting from outside

  • Cover and cook for a minute

  • Now put oil on that side too and flip the dosa.

  • Roast on both sides till you get golden brown color.

  • Dosa is ready to serve
MAKING OF SQUARE- GRILLED PAN BREAD DOSA
  • In the same way, heat the square grilled pan on flame.
  • Reduce the flame and smear oil on it.
  • Spread about 2 ladles of Batter on it.

  • Put oil on it and let it cook on low flame.
  • Put some oil on it and then flip.

  • you will get a beautiful, crispy Dosa, with brown or golden colored marks on it.

  • Serve hot with tomato sauce, chutney, or with a dash of Butter when HOT.
note:
This Breakfast is very easy to make and can be taken in a lunch box.
As it has vegetables it is a healthy choice.
No need to make any chutney, as you already have added spices to it.
This is a very quick recipe to make, for working housewives.
