SANDWICH- A HEALTHY QUICK BREAKFAST
INGREDIENTS NEEDED FOR THE BATTER TO MAKE SANDWICH

- Semolina(fine sooji or rawa)-1 cup
- Curds-1/2 cup
- Water-1 cup
- Black pepper powder-3/4 teaspoon
- Salt-1 teaspoon
- Take a mixing bowl.
- Add semolina, curds, salt, and pepper to it.
- Now with the help of a spoon or whisk. make a flowing consistency (lump less) batter using water.
- Do not add a full quantity of water at once.
- Cover and keep aside for 5 mts.
INGREDIENTS FOR MAKING THE FILLING OF SANDWICH
- Tomatoes-3 numbers
- Onion-3 medium size
- Green chilly-1-2
- Coriander leaves-a handful
- Curry leaves-6-8 in numbers
- Ginger-1 inch piece
- Red chilly powder-1 teaspoon
- Salt-3/4 teaspoon
- Oil-1 tablespoon
- Cumin seeds-1 teaspoon
- Mustard seeds-1 teaspoon
- Turmeric powder- 3/4 teaspoon
- Fenugreek seeds-1/2 teaspoon
- Capsicum-1 is small.(optional)
- Chop the Tomatoes, Capsicum, Onions, fresh Coriander leaves, Green chilies, Curry leaves, and grated Ginger pieces.
- Keep all the herbs and spices ready with Salt.
STUFF PREPARATION FOR SANDWICH
- Keep a frying pan on low flame and add Oil to it.
- When Oil gets heated, add cumin, mustard, turmeric, and fenugreek seeds.
- Saute for a few seconds and now add Green Chilies. grated Ginger, Curry leaves, and Capsicum pieces.
- After one minute, add cut Onions.
- Also, add Red chilly powder and Salt.
- Mix nicely and saute till the onions are soft and transparent.
- Now add cut Tomatoes,
- No need to cook more after adding tomatoes. (few seconds are enough)
- The stuff for the Sandwich is ready,
- Take a Grilled Tawa and heat it on a low flame
- Apply Butter on the Tawa.
- Apply a thin layer of the Semolina batter on the bread slices as shown.
- Now put them on the grilled Tawa, (the batter side should go down)
- Now put some filling on the top side.
- cover it again with the semolina batter.
- Let it roast for 1 minute.
- Turn it upside down, and apply some Butter, on top and sides of the Sandwich.
- Keep a grilled Tawa on the flame to heat. Smear Butter.
- Take the Dosa batter on a plate, about 1-2 ladle full.
- Dip the Slice of Bread so that the Batter coats on both sides. (flipping it)
- Now put this Slice on the Tawa, after greasing Tawa with Butter.
- Let it roast to golden brown color.
- Flip it and repeat the same procedure.
- Apply some more Butter, while you flip.
- Now after removing the tawa, put the filling, cover it with the other roasted Sandwich, and serve it Hot.
