AAM PANNA (RAW MANGO DRINK)
- Unripe mango is very rich in Vitamin C and A.
- It has magnesium which helps in waste removal
- Raw mango consists of acid which helps in easing digestion and controlling constipation.
- It helps in the absorption of iron and so increases body resistance.
- It treats gastrointestinal disorders and also liver disorders.
- It has antioxidant properties to protect our bodies from cancer and cardiovascular diseases.
- Leaves are packed with antioxidants, vitamins A and C.
- They also have B-complex, Phosphorous, and Calcium.
- They are the richest source of Iron, potassium, and manganese to improve Hemoglobin levels.
- It treats indigestion.
- It improves respiratory complaints.
- It removes bad breath
- It improves memory.
- The mint leaves boost Immunity.
- This is more nutritious than refined Sugar.
- It improves digestive health.
- It prevents anemia as it has Iron in it.
- It helps in liver detoxification and also improves immune function.
- It purifies the Blood.
- Raw mango-1 medium-sized (Boiled and mashed)
- Mint leaves- 8-10
- Jaggery-2-3 tablespoon
- Roasted cumin powder-3/4 teaspoon
- Salt-1/2 teaspoon
- Rock salt or Black salt-3/4 teaspoon
- Select a raw mango. Wash and wipe.
- Peel to remove the skin. (do not throw it, can be used for making chutney).
- Cut into pieces and keep ready.
- Now take a glass of water and add to a mini cooker.
- Now in a bowl put the raw mango pieces and a cup of water.
- Keep the bowl in the cooker and cook for 1-2 whistles.
- When the cooker cools take out the bowl of mango and mash.
- Cool it completely.
- Now in a multi mix add all the ingredients.
- Grind them to a fine paste.
- Take a glass, and put 3-4 Ice -cubes.
- Put a tablespoon of paste into it.
- Jaggery as you already know is very good for your health.
- Lime is the richest source of Vitamin -C, for immunity.
- Dry ginger is good for digestion, lowers blood sugar, and inflammation, and lowers cholesterol.
- Jaggery-3-4 tablespoon (grated)
- Lime-1 medium (squeeze the juice)
- Cardamom-3-4
- Dry ginger powder-1/4 teaspoon
- Water-2 glasses (chilled or Ice cubes)
- Take a glass of plain water and put the grated jaggery in it. Soak it in a vessel.
- Let it dissolve completely.
- Powder the Cardamom with little sugar to a fine powder.
- After dissolving the jaggery, strain it in a strainer to remove the impurities if any.
- Now squeeze the lime juice into this.
- Add the cardamom powder to the drink.
- Add a pinch of dry ginger powder to it.
- Give it a good mix and add another glass of chilled water or a few pieces of Ice cubes.
