Friends, this time I am going to show you a very basic CUPCAKE, WITHOUT USING REFINED FLOUR OR MAIDA, YEAST, EGG, etc.,
WE WILL BE USING WHEAT FLOUR WHICH IS A MUCH HEALTHIER CHOICE.
THIS CUPCAKE IS A RECIPE, ON DEMAND MADE BY MY YOUNGEST VIEWER, (MY GRANDDAUGHTER).
This recipe demands very few ingredients, usually present in almost all homes.
The method of making is also very easy and takes less time to bake.
Yet it is a very YUMMY, CRUNCHY FROM OUTSIDE AND SOFT FROM INSIDE, LOOKS DELICIOUS AND ATTRACTIVE.(especially for children, as it can be given whole, no need to cut)
Let us see the ingredients needed for the cupcake.
- Wheat flour-1 cup
- Milk powder-1/4 cup
- Butter (unsalted)- 50 grams
- Powdered sugar-1/2 cup
- Milk -3/4 cup to 1 cup
- vinegar-3/4 teaspoon
- Baking powder-1 teaspoon
- Baking soda-1/2 teaspoon
- Tutty-fruity-3-4 colors
METHOD:
- Sieve the wheat flour with baking soda and baking powder, 2 -3 times and keep ready.
- Cream the butter and sugar powder till it is light, shiny, and smooth
- .Add vanilla essence to the mix.
- Now add milk powder and sieved wheat flour.
- Combine them together.
- Start adding milk, 1/4 cup at a time.
- Go on mixing, using the rest of the milk, till it gets a semi-liquid dough.(NOT POURING CONSISTENCY).
- Put 3/4 amount of the Tutty Fruity and mix in a cut and fold method.
- The batter for the cupcake mix is ready to bake.
BAKING THE CUPCAKE:
- PREHEAT THE OTG OR OVEN OR PRESSURE PAN WITH SALT, FOR 10 MTS.
- Meanwhile put the batter of cupcakes in paper cups or silicon molds or aluminum molds, according to the baking gadget you are using.
- 1/2 fill the mold, to allow space for puffing.
- Sprinkle some colored tutty-fruity on top to make it attractive.
- Arrange the cups in a baking tray and keep baking for about 20 mts,
- The cupcake starts giving a nice aroma, check with a toothpick and when it is done, remove and cool.
- The color on the top of the cupcake should be light brown.
CUP CAKE IS READY.
