HELLO FRIENDS, Today I am going to show you 2 spicy and tasty chutneys namely RAW TOMATO CHUTNEY and MINT CORIANDER CHUTNEY.
Chutney as an individual is not a complete dish, but an accompaniment to almost all the dishes from Idly, Dosa to Parathas Roties, and all Rice preparations.
- It has a good amount of vitamins, hence it is a good ANTI-OXIDENT.
- It has a good amount of B-Complex vitamins, such as B6, Thiamin & Niacin-FOR RED BLOOD CELLS
- It has vitamin K, which helps in the CLOTTING OF BLOOD.
- RAW TOMATO. is rich in minerals, such as Potassium, phosphorous, Iron, Manganese, and Magnesium useful for BLOOD, MUSCLE, AND BONE HEALTH.
- It has Fiber and BOOSTS IMMUNITY.
RAW TOMATO CHUTNEY:-
Today, the HERO of this chutney is RAW TOMATO.
- So, we can say that using raw tomato for chutney is a GOOD OPTION. Along with it, we are also using Groundnuts or Peanuts which again a good source of healthy fat, protein, fiber, and essential vitamins
- Let us now see the ingredients needed for this HEALTHY RAW TOMATO CHUTNEY.
- Raw tomatoes-4 in number
- Peanuts-2 tablespoons
- Green chilies-4-5 in numbers
- Ginger-1 inch piece
- Garlic-4-5 cloves
- Coriander leaves-small bunch
- Curry leaves-8-10 numbers
- Table salt-3/4 tea spoon or according to taste.
- Oil-1/2 tablespoon (for roasting green chilies).
- Take a frying pan and on low flame roast the Peanuts till the skin starts separating and smells good.
- Remove on a plate and let it cool to separate the skin.
- Wash the Tomatoes and chop them roughly, into small pieces.
- Now in the same pan add 1 /2 tablespoons of oil and heat on low flame.
- Add Green Chilies, Chopped Ginger, and Garlic cloves, and saute.
- Now add chopped Raw Tomato and saute for 1 minute.
- Cover and cook the Tomato for about 2 mts.
- Put off the flame.
- Let it cool completely.
- Take a mixer grinder jar and put all the ingredients i.e.Tomato, Roasted Peanuts, Green chilies. Ginger pieces.Garlic cloves. Coriander leaves, Curry leaves, and Salt.
- Grind them to a little coarse paste.
- CHUTNEY IS READY.
- Transfer to a bowl.
- Oil-1 tablespoon
- Urad dal-1 tablespoon
- Red chilly-1 number
- Curry leaves-6-8 in number
- Mustard seeds-1 teaspoon
- Asafoetida (hing)-1 peanut size
- Take a small fry pan and heat 1 tablespoon oil in it, at low flame.
- Now add 1 teaspoon of mustard seeds and let it crackle.
- Add Hing and Urad Dal.
- Add Broken Red Chilly to the pan.
- Add Curry leaves also.
- When Urad dal becomes golden in color, put off the flame and put the hot garnishing on the chutney.
- This aromatic LEAF HAS a TYPICAL SMELL AND TASTE.
- It is gut-friendly because it helps to relax the muscle of the abdomen and thus relieves GASTRO INTESTINAL TRACT ISSUES, AS INDIGESTION, IRRITABLE BOWEL-SYNDROME, ABDOMINAL PAIN, AND FLATULENCE.
- It is a rich source of vitamin-A which is good for EYE HEALTH AND NIGHT VISION.
- It has ANTI OXIDANTS Which protects us from the damage caused by FREE RADICALS.
- Chewing mint leaves reduces bacteria that cause bad breath.
- It is a good source of IRON, CALCIUM, AND MAGNESIUM.
- MINT is EXCELLENT in managing BLOOD SUGAR LEVELS.
- It has vitamins –A, C, AND D to IMPROVE the IMMUNE SYSTEM
- It is a rich source of Dietary FIBER, MANGANESE, IRON, and MAGNESIUM.
- It lowers blood sugar by stimulating insulin secretion.
- It lowers bad cholesterol and increases good ones.

- Coriander leaf has vitamins and so it is good for the treatment of ALZHEIMER’S DISEASE.

- Coriander leaves-1 a big bunch
- Mint leaves-1 medium bunch
- Green chilies-5-7 in number
- Lemon juice-1 medium size lime
- Garlic cloves-8-10 in numbers
- Ginger 1.5-inch piece
- Sev-a handful(anyone -plain sev, or aloo bhujia)
- Roasted Jeera powder -1 teaspoon
- Black salt-1 teaspoon
- Table salt-1/2 teaspoon
- Water-1/4 cup to grind.
- The method of preparing this mint-coriander chutney is very easy.
- Put all the ingredients together in a blender or a mixer-grinder jar and blend them together to a paste.
- Taste it and correct the taste, if you need salt or lime.
