FOR MAKING BUTTER COOKIES.
- All-purpose flour-100 grams
- Un-salted butter-60 grams
- Powdered sugar-50 grams
- cardamom-2 numbers
- Powder the sugar with cardamom in a mixer grinder.
- Take a deep mixing bowl and put butter at room temperature.
- Now add powdered sugar to it.
- Beat (cream) with a whisk or electric hand blender till you get shiny fluffy and creamy stuff.
- Now sieve the Maida.
- Start mixing it with the butter-sugar cream mix.
- Make a dough and then divide the dough into small portions.
- Shape the Bikkies with your hand and place them on a greased aluminum foil (on a baking tray)at 1.5 inches apart (distance in between).
- Preheat the oven to 150 * C for 10 mts.
- keep the tray in the oven to bake for about 15-18 mts.
- Do not overcook, it becomes hard if done.
- Take out of the tray, cool, and then store in an air-tight container.

- All-purpose flour-80 grams
- Un-salted butter-60 grams
- Powdered sugar-40 grams
- cardamom-2 numbers
- Coconut powder-40 grams (desiccated coconut)
- Poppy seeds-1 teaspoon
- Red cherries-3 numbers.
- Powder the sugar with cardamom in a mixer grinder.
- Take a deep mixing bowl and put butter at room temperature.
- Now add powdered sugar to it and beat (cream) with a whisk or electric hand blender till you get shiny fluffy and creamy stuff.
- Add coconut powder and poppy seeds to the above mix.
- Now add sieved maida to the mix.
- Knead well until it blends into a pliable dough.
- Make walnut-sized balls and place it an inch apart on a greased aluminum foil (on a baking tray).
- Cut the cherry into small pieces and keep one piece on each cookie.
- Preheat the oven to 150 * C for 10 mts.
- keep the tray in the oven to bake for about 15-18 mts.
- Do not overcook, it becomes hard if done.
